A safari is a journey expedition to hunt, observe or photograph animals in their natural habitat.
Hunting Africa is always a team effort. From the scouting and guiding, to the hunt itself and then certainly the recovery and processing of the animal.
The teamwork aspect, the dedication to then watching how no part of the animal is ever wasted, it all appears to the hunter in me. Hauling down a sandy mouth animal down from a steep rocky slope to the hunting truck parked as close as we could get it and then off to the skinning shed and back to camp.
